Catherine Cruz Rudolph

Cathy had always enjoyed writing but never seriously considered pursuing it as a career. Beginning in 1986, she found herself involved in school musicals. She served as Stage Manager or Light Director for Fiddler on the Roof, Cinderella and My Fair Lady. Aside from City Hearts, Cathy currently has two works-in-progress: an historical-fictional romantic novel titled “Mariana”, which covers the lives and loves of four generations of Pacific Island women, and a romantic play “Send Me Cards And Letters.”

Jennifer Morgan Nugent

Jennifer had been writing fiction since her early teen years. She also has extensive training in playing piano, the french horn and trumpet, and has performed major roles in The Crucible and several one-act Neil Simon adaptations in high school and college. After a few stints as a freelance reporter for a number of news publications and television stations in Southern California, Jennifer had turned to pursuing a career as a songwriter, singing her original compositions in L.A. coffee houses.

You left fingerprints of grace on our lives and loving memories, too.

You shall not be forgotten.”

“And I'll dance until the stars slowly fade to darkness and the moon turns to cheese. How clever? Am I a romantic fool or what? No - I think I'm just in love…”

  • Julia

I didn't care about the pain and the heartache and the tears. That I could deal with. What I couldn't handle was the reality. The fact that I had lost at the game of love.”
